Synopsis:

Bangkok Traffic (Love) Story is a rom-com drama that perfectly blends Mei Li’s love story with the essence of Bangkok which is a city that never fails to evoke chaos. Mei Li’s character is a combination of subtle and bumbling around and is perfectly encapsulated by Cris Horwang. She is 30 but single and her friends have begun to settle down which sheds light on her realisation to get married. But all that soon changes when she gets acquainted with Loong, a kindhearted engineer who is enthralled with the construction of the Bangkok Skytrain system.

Comedic bygones and endearing Loong had Mei Li completely enamoured and in love but much to her chagrin, she was burdened with her insecurities, the mysteries urban life brought with itself and Loong’s effusive character. You get to see Bangkok, as it is which is a blend of romance and comedy sprinkled with the lonesomeness of love, determination and the chutzpah to do things for love.

Theeradej Wongpuapan as Loong: Wongpuapan is effortlessly charming as Loong stands in between both meekness and kindness. The story and his character becomes more nuanced and engrossing as you see Wongpuapan’s character grapple between his career goals and an unforeseen love for Mei Li.
