Synopsis
A Little Thing Called Love is a regular highschool lover’s coming of age story which showcases the transformation of Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, a nerdy highschool girl who has a crush on a popular boy in the school, Shone, played by Mario Maurer. The film is directed by Puttipong Pormsaka Na-Sakonnakorn and Wasin Pokpong. It was filmed in a remote village in Thailand where the main character Nam is struggling with self esteem and wishes to improve herself following a rejection.
Always feeling self concious about her skin, weight and voice, along with her school grades, an awkward feeling is always associated with her presence. However, with the help of her friends, however, things begin to change as she purchases a self help book called ‘9 Recipes of Love’ After, she was able to become student of the year, served as a lead actress and also started gaining confidence. Shone, a talented photographer comes to play a great role in Nam’s character development by being oblivious yet indirectly inspiring her with warmth and charm.
